Hi



My name is john and I live in Fife Scotland, retired with a small ammount of spare time to devote to family research.



I have done work on my paternal side but got stuck when led to Ireland, I have given that one a rest for now and I am looking at the maternal side, so far back to 1774 name in question is james mitchel born 1774 in Fife, the family have stayed in Fife which could make it easier, however I am at the preverbial brick wall.

My hobbies are golf, photography and the computer
