Hi all, I'm Tony new member from Berkshire. My research follows two different routes. Mother English, father Polish, difficult in both cases. Dad came over at beginning of WW2, some relatives died during war, others since but have no contact with any that may remain. Mums father died before she was born. He had a ' reputation'? so was never told anything about him. Grandmother destroyed any paperwork she had before she died. Please forgive me if I ask lots of 'silly' questions.
