Thread: Up here in the Highlands researching down there in Cornwall

Hi, I'm Page the Oracle and I'm looking into the Pearce, Prout, Paull, Sedgman and Trevena families in Cornwall. The Howards of North Meols Lancashire are my paternal ancestors but am concentrating on the Cornish Contingent at the moment.

Johanna Pearce b.1804 married John Paull b.1803, in 1828, both of St Agnes, Cornwall. I have no information about Johanna as to her parentage yet. Any info would be much appreciated.

John Paull b.1803 is the father of the John Paull b.1830 who had Paull's Hotel which was first Pearce's Hotel, then the Commercial Inn and then Paull's Hotel so I was wondering in a huge leap of faith if this Joanna was one of 'those' Pearces??
