greetings from oz.I have found this site from an relative- it's very informative. I hope to find my ancestor through you wonderful people!my relative is also searching for the same ancestor so perhaps we can compare notes as to who comes up with what?-cheers for now

many thanks. for responding so quickly- I am looking for lakeland family around your area and beyond. here in australia lakeland is not very common- but in uk seems to be like smiths!!!- I am particuarly looking for bishops trancripts nos. relating to the hemingbrough parish- can you help me as to where I would go?- many thanks for reading this- and I look forward to hearing from you.- regards
