Thread: Newbie Mark

Hello I am Mark from Logan Ohio in the USA, most of my family came from the UK in the 1850's, Smiths and Latchams from Paulton, Somerset, Drinkwaters from Wales. Those are my brickwalls. I have been helped immensely on the Latchems, however the Drinkwaters and the Smiths are stalled. William Drinkwater came to the US in 1850 and settled in Hocking and Perry Counties here in Ohio, he fought in the US Civil War. John Smith married Emma Latcham abt 1853 and came to the US to mine coal in Pa. he died there in a mining accident. If anyone needs look ups in my part of the US I will gladly help. Quite a few English and Welsh families settled in my part of Ohio.
