Thread: hi all

Hi Im Cathy and im here because i have been trying to trace my family tree for the past few years but have drawn a constant blank trying to find the birth cert of my grandmother whos name was Ethel Allen married to Phillip Scally.

she was born in 1900 on july the 15th in Sedgley in Tipton or around that area. Moved to Macclesfield and then settled in Newcastle under lyme.

She had a brother Harry who lived in Macclesfield. sister Lizzey who moved to newcastle also and a brother Richard who died in the war.

That is all we know of them.

Her father was Edward allen a silk dyer and her mother we believe was Elizabeth.

Any help anyone could offer at all would be wonderful
