Thread: Hello All

Hello



I am Ken Ashcroft (ukken) and am 49 and living in Leeds, West Yorkshire. As a "home dad" I have periods where I have time on my hands. Most of my hobbies involve being outdoors but with the poor weather that has already kicked in I needed something to keep me occupied indoors.



For some time I have been interested in finding out more about my ancestors and have started my family tree on genesreunited. I have had some excellent help from a couple of members there who have helped me to get back to 1660 with the Ashcroft side of the family. I now need to try find out more about my grandmothers side, the Campbells. Arnold Ashcroft 1910 was married to Violet Campbell 1908 and they lived in Wooler, Northumberland where thet had my father, Alan Ashcroft.



If anyone has any knowledge of them I’d appreciate some help.



Right then, I’m going to have a good look around.
