Hi all;
I'm new here, but have been researching since 1992. Most of my research has been in Canada, as that's were I am, mostly Nova Scotia and Newfoundland. I currently live on the other side (west) of Canada in British Columbia.
My 7th Great Grandfather came from St Alban's, Hertfordshire, he was John George TUTTY. His brother William was the first Anglican minister in Halifax, Nova Scotia (1749). The names in this line in Hertfordshire are: TUTTY, DREW & BLAKEY/BLAKLEY.
My wife's paternal line is a shorter leap to England. Her Great grandfather emmigrated to Alberta, Canada in 1902, his parents in 1907 (notice they came just after any census!) I've posted the Lincolnshire names & dates on the Lincolnshire group, but will list them here: WHITE, COOK, SHORT, PATRICK, BEVERLEY/BEVERLY & ELVIDGE.
I hope to make some contacts here.
Al.
