I have been conducting research for the shipman tree and Mary lived in Bolsover and was married to Arthur Reynolds in 1948 Dec Q.

My GREAT GRANDFATHERS SISTER Mary Elizabeth Caulton married Thomas Shipman who was Edwins brother. Edwin was Mary Shipmans father.

in 1936/37 Mary was in service at Keyworth, Notts (The Firfields) I cannot find out what this was. Apparently speaking to HIstorian in Keyworth there were big houses on Nicker hill Keyworth in 1930's. However, there is a shipman living in Keyworth she is 85 and obviously her surname is her married name and she does not know a Mary Shipman. Her husband relatives came from Cotgrave. Is there any shipmans there??
