Thread: My Appreciation

Hi Members,



I have only been a member for a short while and have really been ta ken back by the help and generosity of Ancestry members. Nothing seems to much effort and I would like to extend my sincere appreciation to all. Special thanks to Starlight in particular. I have hit one brick wall after another with my elusive ancetral family, but Star light has helped me a great deal.

My elusive family is

John 1801 Tyree & Mary MacDonald 1811 Tyree Scotland

Children

John 1841,Alexander 1842, Janet 1844, Mary 1846 & Donald 1849 all Tyree. This family or some of them migrated to South Australia between 1850 - 1863 but I just cant find when or what ship

Will need a jack hammer for this brick wall

Welcome to the introduction page at last. Now I can welcome you to the site. I'm sorry I couldn't help you more but the old Parish records for Scotland have very little information. If only they had a child born after 1855 - sounds like a lot of the twigs on my own tree in Scotland. Thank you for your kind words. Good luck with your further research.
