Thread: G'day all

I've been living in Australia since 1963, but was born in the UK. I've been seriously researching for only a few months, and I like to think I've made quite good progress. However, currently I'm stuck back in 1785 researching Ashbys in Kent and Sussex. Also interested in Farrs from Leicestershire, Bickleys from Staffordshire and Hones from I'm not sure where (the ones I know about lived in and around London, but I think originated from elsewhere - William Hone was a minor literary figure in Charles Dickens' circle...). I'll post about my current brick walls somewhere else on the site...
