Thread: Hi Everyone

I am trying with not too much sucess to find my ancestors. I live in New Zealand and am retired. I thought it would be easy to find out about them as they were gentry...apparently not if disowned! One thing I can be certain of is that at least they will not be all boring.

Chris,

I am not judging him,although I am aware that he was an alcholic. I am a strong character myself and empathise with others who dare to be different. It was a fascinating story as told by my Father. I have contacted my only living relative on that side and she said that she will send me a photo of him that she has. Cheers Mary

Im not quite sure of your post, as for judging ancestors I agree with you , researching can open many fascinating stories , good ,bad & some sad.
