Thread: New to the site

Hi ,



I have been researching my Fathers Patterson line and my mothers Bean familly line for 6 months. Both of my fathers grandmothers were called Errington and they were from Co Durham and I have been able to get back to 1550 and 1580 with them, they had strong links to the Ryton and Whickham area , I was born at Ryton but now live in Warrinton .



I am hoping to get some help with my great grandfather William Patterson who from his marriage certificates was born c1849 and he was born in Northumberland , possibly Newcastle. I have his marrige to Mary Anne Errington Jan 4th 1871 St Peters, Newcastle, and know his father was called Christopher. I am hoping to find someone who can do a Newcastle birth lookup for me.



My Mother was Lilian Bean from Liverpool, and her grandfather was a Charles Henry Bean born March 1861 in Shoreditch and he married someone called Charlotte born c1866 possibly Woodward from London. She was a Actress and he was a Scenic Artist and in 1891 census they were in Glasgow, My grand father Charles Frederick bean was 1 and place of birth is given as England, but have not found his birth, possibly Jul/ Sep 1889 in Doncaster.
