hello i found this site through a link from another, im looking at an impossible task of finding information on my father with the surname of smith. all i know is he,s lesley charles smith, born in 1909, and got married in hampshire in 1934

Not quite so easy, Starlight. I'm researching a John Smith but all sites, freeBMD; Census sites, etc., all say a search would take too long. Now what? Cheers, Picseek.

These serches have to be done manually but can be achieved if you have names, places and dates like Jinksie has to begin with.
