Thread: Looking for Gibson Family

Hi Everyone I have just joined and I sure am looking forward to starting some research.



I was born in Govan Glasgow and I am trying to locate my real Father Jim Gibson. He was in the British Military back in 1958/59 and seemingly won the Most handsome Man contest in the Daily record back then also. I have tried so many ways to find him but no luck yet.



I have NO idea if Jim Gibson has ever tried to find me but I would like to at least give it a try. As far as I know he lives in Glasgow still.

My Mother was from Edinburgh she was raised in a convent there then moved to Glasgow. My Mum worked at Oakbank Hosp back 1958/1959 and also lived at the Good Shepherd (home for pregnant mothers)

If anyone has ANY info or some advice for me to try I would really appreciate it.
