Hi there, can anyone shed some light on the whereabouts of the UK Mining Industry Archive? My Grandfather was a celebrated First Aider in the Mines Rescue teams located in Yorkshire during the 1930's and 40's. He had a 'prize' Wooden Shield named after him which was regularly competed for by the various colliery first aid ambulance teams. I am trying to locate this and hoped anyone in the industry or connected with an archive might help.
