Thread: Hi from Florida!

I am researching the Charnock Family from Ormskirk and later the Toxteth Park area. I have been researching for eight years now, but the Charnocks are giving me a challenge! Henry Charnock born abt 1826 in Ormskirk, (Father Thomas Mother Ellen) later moved to Toxteth Park. He married Eliza Helsby from Halewood. They had two children that I know of, Thomas b: 1856 and James b: abt 1859. According to the 1881 census they where both married and also living in the Toxteth park area! Does anybody know how close Llanwrot St and Shelley St are to each other?

Hope there is someone out there that might be able to give me a little more info on my Charnock family. Henry had lots of siblings, maybe some of you out there are related somehow!

Hi Betty I lived near Shelly Street it ran between Park Street and Northumberland Street.



I have an old A-Z but I cannot find Llanwrot Street? Maybe you have a wrong Spelling?



There is or was? a Lamport Street on the other side of Northumberland Street could this be it?
