    Default Greetings from Canada

    Greetings from Canada!

I came upon this site and thought I'd sign up and check it out. I have been researching my family history for about 8 years and through this research I feel much more of a sense of where I come from. It's such a rewarding process! I do have my fair share of brick walls though.

My roots spread across the UK, from England, Wales and Scotland and across the pond to Canada. I have only found one ancestor who was reportedly from Ireland, but have yet confirmed this.

    Areas of interest include:

    Cumberland - Dearham

Durham - Annfield Plain, Craghead, Crook, Edmondsley

    Hampshire - Southampton

    London - Blackwall

    Norfolk - Sporle

    Shropshire - Dawley Magna

    Staffordshire - Sedgley

Monmouthshire - Blaenavon, Blaina, Garndyrris, Llanover, Llanwenarth

Aberdeenshire - Belhelvie, Crathie, Old Machar, Peterculter, Wester Craigie

    Canada - British Columbia

Happy hunting all! P.S. if possible, please add Canada in the list for
Choose Your Country section of the profile. Thanks!

Good luck with your research & hope to see you around the boards.
