Thread: Hello

Hi, I have started to research my family tree as part of my convalescence after an illness. It is rewarding and frustrating in equal measure! Why or why did my ancestors not realise that they should have chronicled their lives more explicitly and publicly than they did!!



I have compiled a direct lineage of the Dunn family of Ashby de la Zouch and surrounding area back to the late 18th Century. There are many "holes" though and establishing anything further back is proving very difficult. Any thoughts that members may have about moving further back would be very much appreciated.
