I posted in the Cambridgeshire thread also as one of the people I am looking for John Willian Smith was born there in 1820 at Thriplow.
He married Esther Sibley at Bishops Stortford in 1848 shortly before the family came to Australia.
There were children born before the marriage , so they would have been living together. Maybe the marriage was necessary to migrate.
I would like any information on Esther Sibley. She may have been born around 1819.
