    Default Wolverhampton Wilds

Hey guys, I know I've asked for this in the past, but didn't get many results then.... I recently 'cleaned up' my Wilds and discovered I had about 8 children (some with decendants) that weren't even my family - I had to delete around 60 people of my tree....

So, could some one please look up, on the censuses, the family of John and Ann Wild. John was born about 1793 and Ann in 1796.

    Their children were:

    Harriet, born 1819

    John, born 1821

    Sarah, born 1824

    William, born 1825

    George, born 1827 and

    Joseph, born 1830

    All in Wolverhampton, Staffs

    Thanks

Hi Bazza, Could this be John in 1841?

    Wolverhampton Staffs

    Ann Wild/8

    George Wild/13

    John Wild/45

If this is the right family, then this could be Ann's death record

    Mar 1839

    WILD Ann Wolverhampton 17240

Slizzy, that could be them in '41, though I didn't have Ann as a daughter and where are the other children?? Could you find that family on any other census?

Oh, and does it say whether John was born in the county or not?

As for William... I'm certain thats not mine, because he immigrated to Australia in '58. His wife was Eliza, who he married in 1845 in Wolverhampton. According to his death certificate he had at least 12 kids! But only one, Ann (born 1847) went with them.

FYI, George came to Oz before he was married here in May 1852.
