Thread: Cocking & Richards

Hi everyone, haven't done any research for ages so not been here in a long while. Wondering if anyone can help me trace two members of my Dad's family. Firstly:



1891 census shown as Thomas Norman Cocking (b.1882)

1901 " " " Thomas R Cocking



parents were William Henry & Mary Anna Cocking from Redruth District.



He was believe to have emigrated to Butte as a teacher.



Also: Thomas Norman John Richards b 1903 Cornwall emigrated to Australia, but no other info. He was a nephew to Thomas Norman Cocking above.



Any help will be very much appreciated as I have no idea where to look, not having any dates for the latter.

There is a Thomas N Richards a labourer age 20 travelling to Fremantle Australia from London date of departure 11 Sep 1923 ship Moreton Bay

Also a Walter C Richards on the same voyage

Hi Gillian, don't know what to think really, it is quite possibly the right one but how does one know? I don't however have any connection with Walter C Richards as far as I know. Unless there is someone out there researching the ones I am looking for I cannot see how I am going to know do you? I appreciate you taking up your time to look for me. Margaret.
