can anyone help me find the parents and siblings of mary stanley born in 1850 in dorset all i know is she married william stockwell in 1873 in kennington had 7 children and died in 1911. she had romany links.

the only census record I could find that fits is for 1861 Wareham, Dorset

George Stanley 40 sheppard born 1821 Winterborne Kingston

Theresa 30 born 1831 Fordington

Jane 11 born 1850 Bere Regis

Mary 8 born 1853 Winterborne Kingston

George 3 born 1856 West Moredon

Ellen 1 born St Martins Wareham

In 1901 there is a Mary living in Lambeth, London born 1853 Dorset she is married with her children living with her but no husband, I can't find her on any other census.

On the 1861 there ia also a Mary J.Stanley, born c 1847 in Bagber, Dorset, but the ages of the family members seem a bit odd...

The unusual names would indicate she was from a romany family apparently the stanleys were a large family in dorset ,the ages are odd but could be due to a death or her parents couldnt be bothered to fill the census in properly, this is worth looking into
