Thread: Amanda Hunn

Hi Everyone,



I am having some problems locating Amanda Hunn (thats her married name) in 1891. She was born 1864 in Bradestone in Norfolk. I think it is a surname spelt wrong, AGAIN!!!!



She should be widowed in this census.

Have checked 1891 cencus putting in Amanda only born app 1864 (five years each way) and although eleven of them showed up, non fit the bill with the info you've given, sorry.

She is on the 1901, though, but I expect you know that, since you didn't ask for that one to be looked up.

Thought I'd mention it, just in case.

On the 1901 she is a Widow with 4 children

Star is right. Len died in 1890 and according to 1901 census Amanda had two children in the Hunn name after he died (obviously illegitimate) and most likely to George Robert Wilgress (b. 1866, Upton, Nfk). She could be with him in '91 under his name??

thanks for looking but i already know this. George Wilgress was my gt gt gt grandad and yes sarah and george were his. my line runs through Sarah. In 1901 she was still a hunn so cant imagine she was a wilgress in 1891 nd then changed back in 1901 to a hunn.



Thanks for looking anyway, obviously there isn't a 1891 record of her which is a bit strange.
