Could anyone help me find the marriage of Elizabeth Isaacs to Thomas or Edward Lucas around 1815 , They had a son named Thomas, who was the first to come to Gibraltar and settle down here.Thomas was born in1817 in London. Regards Ken.

    Hiya Ken,

I have been looking at the Census for your Thomas born 1817 London. Can you at least tell me where in London he was born? There are a few listed in the 1841 Census for Barking,Eastham and Westham. That might give me a lead with the marriage? Do you have any Census info on the family at all? There is a lady on this site doing lookups for Westham Census by the name of Nanna I think? I will contact her for you and see if she can offer any help and come up with any names and so on. Its worth a try.

    Bye Ken

    Hi Ken,

Is this your Thomas for Barking?

    Jane Lucas13 John Lucas20 Martha Lucas5 Maryann Lucas8 Matilda Lucas10 Sarah Lucas45 Sarah Lucas15 Thomas Lucas45 Thomas Lucas25 William Lucas25

Thomas Lucas Age 45 years was born in Barking. My Grandfather was also born in Barking. Anyway Thomas Profession shows as Ag Lab.. Living at Newells Corner

William Lucas age 25 years profession Ag Lab.

William and Thomas both show as age 25 years so could they have been twins? Also Ken do you think Sarah could be Thomas,s second wife? If you send away for Thomas,s Birth Cert that will show both parents names. Maybe Sarah his wife was Sarah Elizabeth

Lucas or perhaps left out the Sarah and just called herself Elizabeth. There is also another site that gives info for people reseaching their East End Ancestors. I think its called EOLFHS. Ken I really feel you should get the Birth Cert.
