    Default Another Easy One....

    Hey All,

Looking for the family of Frederick Lince (1859, Norwich) and Anna Maria Church (1858, Yarmouth) married 1880, Yarmouth. I only have one child noted and that is Frederick born 1880, Yarmouth.

Oh, I was as well ask while I'm here.......

I'm also after the family of Anna's cousin, Elizabeth Sarah Knights (1849, Yarmouth) who married William McDonald in 1877, Yarmouth. Don't have William's dates.

    TIA

    It is indeed!

    And quick!!

You just answered two of my next questions. Regarding who Frederick C. was and what happened to Anna's mother...

    But raised another...:

Where is Fred Jnr., born 1880. I had a marriage for him in 1903, Norwich

Do you have them on any other censuses?

    Hi Bazza,

I am not sure if this is Frederick the nephew, but I can't find one nearer the date.

Star, I'm fairly sure that's the nephew as a Charlotte Elizabeth Lince comes up frequently, as Frederick Snr.'s sister...

Have you checked for the McDonalds? I don't know how difficult they'll be to find. I'm fairly sure they moved from Yarmouth to the Tynemouth district of Northumberland.....

    Hi Bazza,

I can't find the rest of the Lince family in 1891.

Probably mistranscribed somewhere!! Or they could be out of the country.

I had a thought: Frederick Jnr may have been at sea as that seemed to be a fairly common thing for this family: Anna's father was a sailor as was her uncle and cousin (Wm McDonald).

    Hi Bazza,

I thought Frederick junior was the one I found in 1891. He would have been a bit young to be at sea wouldn't he . I've looked through all the Gertrude's born in Norfolk but can't find any obvious mistranscription.

I can't find William and Elizabeth McDonald. Maybe someone else will have more luck
