Hi i was just wondering if anyone can help me search the McEvoy side of my family, they came from Liverpool the names i have are as followed;

Joseph born 1870s married a Annie ? born 1870s

they had 8 children ;

Walter 1900s

Annie 1900s

John 1900s

Arthur 1900s

Francis born 1908 married Mary Devine born 1914 ( my grandparents)

Joseph born 1910 married a Mary Cosgrove born 1914ish

Ellen born 1915 married a Joseph Bolger born 1910

This is all the info i have so far , i have come to a complete stop

any help i would be greatfull

Are you sure that Joseph and Annie were born in Liverpool. Also are you sure about the year of birth of Ellen McEvoy. I have gone through 1915 with no success.

Hi Starlight ive got all my info of other family members but given the name McEvoy i would of thought they came from ireland . i dont know many of this side of my family as its my dads side and my mum and dad spilt up while she was carry me , so im just going on word of mouth , i cant ask my granparents as they have both deceased now , and i dont really have much connection with my aunts and uncles , and as for my father he is mentally ill so i cant ask him , so this is all i have to go by , this is why its has taken me soooo long to find anything out , i know that my granparents lived at 33 wordsworth street liverpool, when i was younger, im sorry i cant tell you any more

This could be Joseph's family. The naming pattern is similar to his childrens. Don't take it for granted that it the right one though. If this is the right one then the previous marriage I posted is not him. I will carry on looking though

If you think it may be the first one, getting his birth certificate may help. If the second one, I can see if the same mother had any children after 1911 with names on your list. Let me know what you think.
