At a guess, I'd say Parish records. The local archives/record office should be able to help you or possibly even the church? I found my Great Grandfather's baptism in the Whitchurch parish records at Shropshire Archives.

Thanks. I know with my children I got a little certificate but wasn't sure whether it would be recorded in church records.
How beautiful it is to do nothing and rest afterwards...........

The archives gave me a printed photo of the register page the baptism was on, so yes the churches do record christenings.
