Thread: Andrew R houston

Hi



Can anyone help me found Andrew R Houston and his parents?



He was born 22 December 1817 in Great Malvern, Worcester. I have him from 1851 census onwards with first wife Isabella Bennett and 7 children and then second wife Lucy Tyler and 6 new children ( a glutton for punishment!!)



I cannot find him with his parents on 1841 census.



I have found the following two marriage entry:

but neither mention isabella bennett.



actually just rechecking as i type this and i have found isabella bennett marriage but not on same page as andrew:

I have never come across it like that before.



Can anyone help me go backwards from Andrew?

I've just looked at the images for ANdrew & Isabella...looks like a mistranscription



They are both registered Dec Qtr 1846 Worcester Vol 18 Page 739



There is a line through the Isabella Page No..so it could be interpreted as 737.

thanks for that. i knew it had to be them but it is nice to have confirmation of them with same reference. now all i have to do is find andrews parents

Andrew was my great,great grandfather.What is your connection?
