when did Electoral Rolls first start and what

info do they give you.

Hello,

I don't know the date when electoral rolls first started in the UK, but all they are is a list of names and addresses of those who have registered to vote.

Hi Ann

Electoral registration started in 1832 (introduced by the Reform Act of that year) and electoral rolls have been produced each year since then apart from 1916, 1917 and 1940-1944
