Thread: !841 James Bourne.

Could someone please look up a James Bourne for me in the 1841 census for Worcestershire? James was born in Astley, Wor in c.1788. He was a collector of Tolls in 1851 and living in Areley Kings then. His Wife was Elizabeth born ? but i am told she was older than James. Other members of the family would be great too. Regards , Roberto.

Emma Hodges 19 Grandaughter Assistant Laundress born Arley Kings, Worcs





Although the original census of 1851 does show James & Susannah as man & wife, when searching the indexes it only shows James

How silly of me!! His wife is Susannah from Enville,Kinver.Elizabeth was his Mother. Yes Loz,this is the family and the older children have all left home by the looks of things. One of the daughters did marry a Hodges. Thanks for the other census too. Regards Roberto.
