Thread: John and Mary Chell

Could someone please look up a John and Mary Chell plus family in the 1861 census. John wouldbe about 50 years old and living in the Hartlebury/Stouport area of Worcestershire. Was john born in Burton Staffs?

I have a John Chell with two children, no wife - he was a Blacksmith.



1861 Census

John Chell aged 55 ( born c 1806 in Burton on Trent )

Resident Hartlebury, Worcestershire.

Occupation - Blacksmith

With daughter Eliza 15 yrs and son William 13 yrs



I also have him WITH Mary on 1851.

I have e-mailed you both

I have Mary's death:

Dec 1860 registered at Droitwich v6c p19[8]

This ties in with her not on the 61 census.
