Thread: Kinsley and Garnett/Garnott

Hi,



Am looking for help and/or advice on info regarding the marriage between John Kinsley and Ann Garnett (spelt Garnott on her sons birth certificate). I can't seem to find their marriage listed anywhere. They were both born in Lincs around 1800 and had several children inc Charles 1842 and William 1844.

Can't find anything specific on the marriage - I G Index says 'around 1822'

John was born in 1800 at Cadney, Lincs and Ann 1806 Hibaldstow Lincs (taken from 1851 census, 51 Front Street, Waddingham, Lincs where John and Ann are with William, Charles and Maria )

I guess you also have them on the 1841 census also in Waddingham with children Charles b. 1832, John b.1833, George b.1834, Jane b.1837, Maria b.1839 AND Charles (age is blotted but he must have been early 1841 NOT 1842)

I G Index also says Ann died 29 Aug 1884 Shelburne, Ontario.

Not what you're asking for but this looks like their baptisms (from IGI) - have you got them?

Thx for the lookups. I will continue my quest with this info in mind! I knew that John and Ann had possibly moved to Ontario. I wonder why? Would it have anything to do with the agricultural depression??
