Thread: Winsham Parish Register look up please

If anyone has the Winsham parish register book 1559-1885 then please could they look up for me:



Thomas Gifford b.1750 (+ or - 10 years) & any siblings - we know that he was born here, but do not know his parent's names - so this is what we are looking for, I don't know if they are on the parish registers or if there were any Giffords registered earlier that could be his parents (marriage/birth of father).



To recap - please search for any GIFFORD born 1770 or before, plus any GIFFORD marriages that would fit in with Thomas or anyone and possible deaths for his parents.

I have had a look at marriages & deaths & sorry there are no Gifford entries in Winsham at that time.

Can I ask how you are so sure Thomas was born in Winsham?

I knew I had the baptisms somewhere - & sorry no record of a Thomas Gifford baptism (or any Gifford before Elizabeth 1777 & Ann 1779)
