I'm looking for the Parents of Sarah (Hollinshead) Holland

born Dec 1855 in Hurdsfield Cheshire. Can anyone help?

Unfortunately I know nothing of Sarah's family.

Although from 1881 it gives Sarah birth as 1855....by the 1891 Census she is 40....making it 1851

Thank you so much for the look up, it's sooo confusing when

names have been mistranscribed. Yes it looks like the right family. I remember my mum saying her grand-dad worked in the brewery trade.

Holland was Sarah's maiden name. found on Cheshire BMD site married George Heathcote in 1871.

Just one more question Loz what is born wincle



I'm going to have to write all the info down...Mum's instructions.

She wants me to compile her Family Tree.

Wincle is in Cheshire.......just googled it and its near Macclesfield!





Sarahs maiden name is definately Hollinshead not Holland. I have checked the image of the Marriage Index so would presume that the Cheshire BMD is a mis transcription

Thank you, you're a gem all I have to do now is make some adjustments in my tree with correct surname and D.O.B. for Sarah..... nothing major thank goodness.



I realised after my post that Winkle was probably a place in MacClesfield, it couldn't have been anything else could it?
