Thread: thomas bickerstaff

i have a thomas bickerstaff born in 1806 it says Ayr as place of birth but i dont know is it Ayrshire or ayr the place can anybody help

Hi marhat....................I have found a Thomas Bickerstaff but born in 1812 and presumably Ayr is Ayrshire as he was born in Girvan, Ayr........ by all accounts he had a skutch of brothers and sisters if you are interested in them I will send you info Hope this helps
