Thread: Isabella Ritchie

Hi

Can anyone help me? I am trying to trace the mother of Isabella Ritchie born abt 1896 (1901 Scottish census) in St Fergus Aberdeenshire. Father was Robert Ritchie a blacksmith by trade & mother was Isabella born abt 1875 Aberdeenshire.

Isabella Married James Wallace i think abt 1917.

If anyone can help with her mothers Maiden name i would be most grateful

Hi Ian - yes the marriage was Dec 17 1917 Longside Aberdeen James Wallace farm servant 24 to Isabella Ritchie 23 dressmaker. It gives her parents as Robert Ritchie farm servant & Isabella nee McKenzie. James parents are John Wallace farmer & Barbara nee Donaldson
