Thread: Saffron Walden, Essex Parish Registers

I have Thomas Acker who was born about 1788 and Sarah Williams who was born about 1811 their first child as far as I can find was born about 1838, I would like to know their parents names and the date they married. I can't find any site that has the Parish records for Saffron Walden. On the 1951 Census it says both Sarah and Thomas were born in Radwinter but it also gives their surname as Hacker although it is Acker on their daughter Harriet's birth certificate (1844) and the 1841 and 1851 censuses. Can anyone help please?

They should be of help. I haven't used them myself, but I've certainly used both Shropshire and Cheshire Archives (without visiting in person) and they've been very helpful.

Thank you for replying, I appreciate your help. I looked at the info on The Genealogist Parish Records but didn't see Saffron Walden listed as listed on any of those for Essex
