Thread: kate nabarro death cert...says she was a widow to someone who doesnt seem to exist!!!

I now have Kate Nabarros birth cert....please help if

you can.



Death- 1st April 1942

Location- Little Pitsford, Pitsford, Eng,

Name- Kate Nabarro (no maidenname)

Age 70

Residence- of cowper gardens, southgate, n14 widow of

Sydney Nabarro, machinist cap trade

Informant- L M Webb, occupant little pitsford, pitsfor

Registered on the day she died



I have looked for a sydney nabarro and not found one.

According to the death cert he was deceased before

Kate.



I just dont know what this lady is going to do next!!!

she is a mystery.



What was she doing so far away from home when she

died...the was a war on, may have had something to do

with it.



Now then....we have we been working on the idea that

our Kate was the Kate Nabarro born 1871. However if

the death cert says she was a widow of sydney nabarro

then I guess she was not born nabarro,



remember that on her sons birth cert in 1906 she was

Kate Wolitzsky formerly Nabarro



In 1908 on her daughters birth cert she was Kate

Nathan formerly Jacobs.



The man to fathered the children was Samuel. In 1906

he was down as Samuel Nathan Wolitzsky and in 1908 he

was down as Samuel Wolitszky Nathan. A cap maker on

both birth certs. Kate was a cap maker too.



Any ideas folks?? I'd be so grateful.

what date was hildas birth registered according to the birth cert?

hi there, thank you for your interest in my post.



Hilda was born 15th December 1908, her daughter is still alive and she also gave me this date. Hildas birth was not registered however until february 1909.
