    Default Lees of Great Crosby

    Hi Guys

I'm helping a friend with her tree and have hit a wall Lol really how HARD is it to find a Lee?? surely its not a mistranscribed surname?!?!? Anyways this is what i've got:

1881 Census 15 Sawyers Cottage, Great Crosby

James Lee age 30 Ellen Wife 28 Thomas 7 Son James 6 Son Ann 1 Daughter

    All born Great Crosby

1901 Census 15 Mear Place, Great Crosby

James Lee age 50 Eleanor wife 48 Marjory 22 Dau Richard 18 SOn John 16 Son Eleanor 8 Dau James 6 Son James 3 Grandson

I have a James Lee marrying Ellinor Porter in 1874.

But can I find them in 1891??? not a bloomin prayer

Don't even know if I got right family?

Don't know why I bother The computer might just find itself launched through the window soon

I give up...me eyes are googled

Yeah Loz, it would have been almost impossible to find them on Ancestry but, we learn such a lot through AA regarding mistrancriptions and other errors, sharing search tips etc is so useful and another great reason to be a member of AA.

Pleased you have had the help in finding the family, and your search has taught me something. Well done Nanna.
