Thread: International Man of Mystery !!! Calling 007

Can anyone shed any light on this Mystery Man.



According to my Grandfathers Birth Certificate which he only saw for the first when he was 64 years old. HIs father was one Reginald Hall DeLacey who was claiming to be an Author and Actor (?).



Grandad was born Lionel Stanley DeLacey on 22 Nov 1914, at 16 Thomas Street, Trethomas, Bewas S Wales. his birth was registered in Jan 1915 in Newport, Monmouthshire.



His mother is down on this Certificate as Alicia Emily DeLacey nee Webster (a lovely name shame it wasn't infact her name she was just plain Alice Emily)



Problem is we can find Alice Emily marrying Hugh Wilson Travers in 1901 (Fulham) and the birth of their first son John Hugh Travers 1902 (Fulham) but we can not find birth of Daughter 08/10/1908 Ivy Coral Mary (Travers/DeLacey??). Possible Reginald and Hugh are same guy but also could be different, as we know that they split up for a time and then got back together to split again and Hugh appears to have remarried in 1921 in Manchester.



I have searched for births of Reginal Hall DeLacey's from 1875-1883 and can not find anything at all, I can't find any marriages and I can't find any deaths for that name either.



I am at a lost what else to try, any ideas would be gratefuly received.

There is a Reginald De Lacey White b 1875. Have you had a look at him?

Yeah we traced his family for 25 years, not our guy but we have adopted family in S Africa now !!

Thanks again for looking, just trying to establish that I am not going mad and that there is no Reggie Hall Delacey to be found.
