im trying to find the death of john boyd, it would be between 1901 - 1921

it would be in west derby liverpool, and he was born in scotland and he was a tailor



would the death index have the place of birth on

hmmm tricky one that, there is a good chance its him, i think i will have a go and get the cert for him, do you know is that enough info to get the death cert

also do you know what type of info may be on it, what would you do ??

It's enough info to order the certificate - gives age, address, what died of, name of informant.

Sounds like you might be ordering a few certificates - only you can decide on your family history budget!

yeah i know what youre saying, it can be an expensive buisness, i wish i'd done it years ago when there were more of my family knocking around





i dont mind if its the right person ive got about 4 certs on their way for other people, but half the people im researching our on my wifes side so she can pay for their certs lol, my fathers side are the currans & boyds mainly then the blundells & owens secondary.



i cant get over the amount of info people have found for me (including yourself) its great !!
