Thread: Link Up Help.

I'm kinda stuck on a link, hope someone can help so that I can go to sleep without keep waking up and logging onto my family tree....Ok here goes.



In the 1881 Census I have a John Allt born abt 1814 Breedon Leicester, he was a visitor to Arthur and Elizabeth Watson nee Tyas in Rawmarsh Yorkshire. Elizabeth was born abt 1860

I know that George Allt married Selina Tyas (Elizabeths Mum) in 1852 but I just can't figure out the relationsip between John and Elizabeth. I did wonder if Elizabeth was John's grand daughter but I would like a second opinion... many thanks

Rowland is living next door to George and Selina in Rawmarsh Hill Rawmarsh Yorkshire John a widower is living with Rowland

In 1861 John is a widower, Rowland and Fanny are still living with him in Breedon.

This could be a death for Mary Sep 1860 Shardlow Vol 7b Page 181

Hi tinyelf, thanks for the information, Yes I have got Rowland and his wife Emma hanging in the Family tree

I think you was right on Mary's date of death 1860. I found that on FreeBMD.

There seems so many Allts living in the Leicester Shardlow area, can't all be related can they.

It seems I have ancestors in my home town of Nottingham to and here's me thinking I'd got no family down here.
