Thread: Dead end information, Help Needed Please

Firstly as this is my first post I would like to say hello to everyone.



I am trying to trace my family history and I have come to a dead end now for sometime. I no very little about the Hardisty side which was my Fathers. His name is Joseph S Hardisty born 11th may 1945 Darlington Married my Mother Pauline Meunier in Richmond district on the 3rd April 1968. I have the birth and marriage certifcates also of my Grandfather Richard Job Hardisty who was born 1910. My Grandmother Gwendoline Paterson (formerly Downing) was 33 yrs old when she married Richard.



I have contacted Alan a few years ago and he shed some light but I am finding it hard now to trace Gwendoline and Joseph (Father).



Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

If you have the birth certificates of Richard and Gwendoline..then both parents names and mothers maiden names will show on these.....



Not sure what you are looking for.....but the info on the birth certificates is the key



From the parents names you can search for a marriage.....certainly both sets of parents will have been born in the 1890's or earlier...so you should be able to track them on census info
