I'm trying to find abit more information on the following family members please....this is from the 1881 census -



Henry Horstead b1826 in Brigg, Lincs......Master of the 'Ann Jewitt', married Elizabeth Unknown b1827 in Knottingley, Elizabeth is listed as Master's Wife.



Mary Horstead b1861 in Hull, living at 4 Harcourt St, in 1881, a Sailor's Wife...daur's Elizabeth Horstead b1880 in Knottingley, & Margaret Horstead born in Hull.....The family are listed in 1881 as living with the Robinson family at 4 Harcourt St, Drypool.

Yep...so did mine...lol They were all Watermen/Keelmen who worked the Aire & Calder Navigation. Do you have any Grindells or Lightowlers listed?
