Thread: Looking for parents of Irene please

Afternoon all,



I am currently looking for parents of an Irene Violet Munro from the Brighton area, i have a? birth on ancestry...another on free bmd which states



Name : Irene Violet MUNRO

Year of Registration : 1903

Quarter of registation : Jan feb March

County : Brighton

Volume 2b page 231





NOW how can i find out her parents, Irene was murdered in what was known as the crumbles murders, in about 1917 ? and the men hung, you can google it and check it out.....was wondering if any one knows how to find her parents names, the newspaper clippings ( and there were a LOT) only mention her mother and only as Mrs Munro

There is reference in one article to a Mr Louttit her uncle but I haven't been able to make any connections. I think you will need to buy the birth certificate which would give you the parents names

Yes saw that reference but that didnt help ?? I have to agree with you on the cert.....and actually ordered it yesterday, so hopefully it will tell ALL
