Thread: Taylor lookup

Hi there

Is someone able to do a look up for me please

I have William Taylor born 1816, Birmingham England

married Sarah Ann (surname unknown) (DOB unknown) in Birmingham (date unknown should be in 1857)

they then left UK to Australia in the company of 2 children surnamed Taylor from a previous marriage of Williams.

According to info I all ready have they shipped out on the "Annie Wilson" in 1857. It departed Liverpool August 1st arriving Melbourne November 4th

I am interested in, name of first wife, DOM to first wife, DOD of first wife, names of children from first wife, second wife DOB and surname and anything else you could think of.

If you can’t figure it out that’s ok thanks for looking anyway

P.S. I looked at my info again because I remembered getting details of the arrival of the ship

Before you edited this post, you said that there were no Taylor's on board when the ship got to Australia. Does this mean that they were definately there on the date you have given ?

What I was looking at online was for Sydney port and the ship arrived there in 1859 and where I have been given info it is for arrival in Melbourne in 1857, now I still dont know if their names are on the Melbourne arrival list but I at least have confirming info the the ship did arrive in Oz in 1857

Now the info I have still does conflict a little as they are detailed to arrive in Sydney not Melbourne, I am just glad to confirm that the ship did arrive in Oz in 1857

So I am chasing UK details now
