richard went to barbados in 27/4/1635 on ann&elizabeth



can anyone help with the other children ie partners children or anything

also john 1584 parents??

alice smythe parents??



why richard went to barbados was he a criminal??

At a guess I don't think Richard would have been a criminal - that date & destination more likely to have gone as an indentured servant

No I think it unlikely that you can be certain that far back - you can only search the parish registers & if there is only one John King born in the parish on balance it is probably the same.

You might want to make a note of this though. In 1657 a John King went to Barbados as an indentured servant (parish Wiltshire Bishops Cannings - but not baptised there) & in 1659 a William King (no other details). It looks from the IGI as if John & Jane had 2 sons John & William so there could be the chance that there is a connection - followed uncle Richard's example? See www.immigrantservants.com
