Thread: Ship's Deserters - Lookup Please

Hello everyone,



I'm new to this list and it looks fabulous!! I'm hoping that some kind person could do a look-up for a Ship's Deserter?



His name is Philip Hoit (Hoite, Hoyt, Hoyte, Hayte) and arrived in Victoria Australia in April 1878 on board the ship 'Durham'. He married a Jane Liddicoat in Cornwall in 1871 and was listed as a mariner. He left behind his wife and 2 children in Cornwall.
