About LinkBacksCan someone find out anything about Richard Smith (b.1821) Souldrop Bedfordshiire ? From what I gather he was married to Naomi ? (b 1816) and had a daughter Ruth (b 1849). Ruth married Frederick Bird, also from Souldrop.

Thats brilliant slizzy ! Really sorted that lot out for me. Now I just have to link them to my Grandad. Knowing they moved from Souldrop to Knotting is a big help....Knotting is such a tiny village be hard not to be related to anyone there.........lol

Petal, the marriage record says Naomi BAILEY not Mailey

I think Naomi was BAILEY Petal, as the IGI has this record

Parents John and Temperance.
Any more census info. you'd like concerning Richard's children etc.
